A project completed for Tom Ingalls and Sue Redding's Product To Package Studio. Students were asked to design tea packaging based around the style and process of an architecture studio. I choose Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen. In addition to novel mechanistic devices, they often incorporate found materials and course textures in their structures. OSKA tea packaging uses paint cans with the same intention.
I used a process of sand blasting, light acid, and saltwater to create the rusted typography on the larger shipping can.
